Al Jazeera Anchor: "Is there an off-ramp for Iran?"

Dr. Foad Izadi proceeds by responding and delivering the most savage, unfiltered indictment of the U.S government and how the next generations now know the reality of the U.S (Epstein Regime).

For more with Dr. Izadi im posting his interview with Drop Site News
Dr. Foad Izadi, professor at the University of Tehran, tells Drop Site that Trump’s regime-change objective is fantasy — and destined to fail.
He says Iran’s retaliatory strikes were pre-authorized and designed to deter future attacks.
➤ On overthrowing the Iranian government:
“They cannot do it. It’s not possible — physically not possible. Iran has over 90 million people. You cannot kill everybody.”
➤ He rejects the idea that Iran can be “decapitated” through airstrikes:
“Iran is not a small entity. It’s a serious country with a serious history. For 7,000 years aggressors have tried — and they were defeated. Iran endured.”
➤ On retaliation:
“The military had instructions: if the U.S. or Israel attacked, the designated targets would be hit. No further approval needed. That’s what happened — and it will continue.”
➤ On deterrence:
“The pain imposed must be strong enough so these attacks aren’t repeated every few months.”
➤ On timing:
Izadi argues the operation was launched to preempt War Powers debate in Congress and shut down diplomacy.
“If your goal is to overthrow a government, you don’t pursue diplomacy. War is required. This was a deception operation.”
Here is a longer interview with India Today, Dr. Foad Izadi, a professor at the University of Tehran, spoke out amid escalating U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran following reports of the deaths of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several Revolutionary Guard commanders.
Speaking from Tehran during an internet blackout, Dr. Izadi dismissed claims of public celebration, emphasizing that the Iranian people are uniting against foreign aggression. “They started this war. Iranians will finish it,” he said, condemning the strikes as blatant acts of external interference.
Dr. Izadi confirmed that Iran is actively retaliating, targeting U.S. and Israeli installations across the region. He claimed, “Iran has even hit the CIA headquarters in Dubai,” defending these actions as legitimate military responses. He accused Western nations of seeking regime change through propaganda and deception, warning that the campaign is designed to inflict maximum damage on civilian infrastructure and paint Tehran as another Gaza.
Urging India to reflect on its own anti-colonial history, Dr. Izadi cautioned against aligning too closely with Israel, highlighting the broader geopolitical stakes at play in the region.
For more of ScheerPost’s Iran coverage —with on‑the‑record admissions from Democratic leaders themselves — the picture is unmistakable: top Democrats are backing this war effort while trying to maneuver Trump into owning its consequences, even as the American public is squarely against escalation. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll found that only 27% of Americans approve of the U.S. strikes on Iran, while 43% disapprove and 29% remain unsure.
