The empire’s priorities become clearest when something threatens its bottom line. Human lives are expendable; oil supplies are sacred. In this episode of Dangerous Ideas, Lee Camp takes aim at that brutal calculus, dissecting Trump’s complaints about attacks on Russian refineries and arguing that Washington’s concern for Ukrainians ends where its economic interests begin.
Camp connects that hypocrisy to the intimidation of independent journalists, the selective outrage over Palestinian prisoners and the celebrity defenders of Israel who would rather ridicule protesters than confront what they are protesting. With biting humor and unapologetic anger, he asks who gets to count as a victim—and who gets punished for challenging the official story.

Chapter 1: Introduction and headlines
Hello and welcome to Dangerous Ideas. How is everyone out there? Hope you’re hanging in there. Hope you’re out there and I hope you’re hanging in there. On today’s episode, we’ll be getting into Donald Trump says Zalinski will soon be out as president of Ukraine. And you won’t believe the reason that Donald Trump wants him out of there. Also caught on camera, Trump says his idiot fans will cheer even when he says the stupidest stuff. It’s good to see him just say saying it like it is. Plus, 55 nations now have sanctions on Israel. Will Israel soon be like North Korea or South Africa in the 1980s, like a global pariah?
Can they sustain if that happens? Plus, Israel is still holding over 9,000 hostages in torture camps. So, where are all the calls to free the hostages? Where I feel like I haven’t heard that recently. And Israel has accidentally revealed that they don’t believe those hostages are terrorists like they claim. Accidentally being the key word. I’ll get into all that. Plus, I’ll show you the best way to answer the idiot question. Well, what about October 7th then? Whenever you talk about Israel, what what about October 7th? I’ll give you the most incredibly simple and incredibly effective response to that.
All that and more coming up right now. I hope you’ll click thumbs up and click share and click subscribe and all the things. Help me fight the endless censorship. I’m going to start off today. I don’t normally do this, but I’m gonna start off with some I guess we’d call it news in the brief. Wait, does that mean I’m in my underwear? No. Uh news. Sorry, I meant to say news in my underwear. Uh no news. Uh the the the short the shorter news. Well, we’ll start with some short news real quick.
Chapter 2: Short news updates
I brought you the the story last week of Christa Pike who uh was executed twice and survived barely and was in critical condition in a hospital. She has now she’s now off critical condition and has been sent back to prison. I think, you know, I think it should be a stance that it should be in the laws. If you attempt to execute someone twice and you fail both times, they’re free at that point. They’re free. Okay? And they’re free for two reasons. One, because you are [ __ ] morons who failed to kill someone twice.
But secondly, because they are either a ghost or a superhero or, you know, they’re Spider-Man or something. So, at that point, let them go. Let them go. Uh, it really is just I mean, who knows what they’ll do to her now. Who knows how they’ll try and kill her the third time. Um, and if you want a longer detailed segment on why our death penalty, all death penalties are egregious and disgusting, uh, we went through all of that last week, so please go check it out. Also in news in my briefs, Congress
Chapter 3: Attacks on independent media
is escalating their attacks on Breakthrough News and other journalists. Uh this is the ongoing efforts by the Trump administration to go after perceived enemies including journalists and breakthrough news is amazing journalists who do great work. Uh they’re some of them are friends of mine. Raik has been on this show multiple times. She does incredible work and uh anyway I’ll read from their Instagram post. MAGA Republicans in the House Ways and Means Committee are stepping up their attacks on breakthrough news. Now they’re threatening to individually subpoena and depose Rana Collic, Zoe Alexandra, and Amanda Yei and other journalists from our outlet.
Rana, Zoe, and Amanda work around the clock to do critical reporting on the entire world from West Africa, sorry, West Asia to Africa, across the Americas and Asia. Yet, Representative Smith now wants to drag the reporters back to Washington DC. Ra usually lives in Lebanon, and I guess they’d be demanding she come back to DC. Our lawyers already provided a comprehensive reply to the House Committee in August, pointing out how their demands were unconstitutional. Now, Representative Smith is back with a new rationale for the continued harassment. It’s clear that this is nothing but press intimidation and abuse of congressional power.
We will not let Congress silence us, but we need your help. So, Breakthrough News is asking you to both talk about that issue and also to support them. Uh, but anyway, they do great work and this just shows how pathetic our government is, how scared our government is of the fact that you’ve got an unhinged collapsing US empire. So, they have to go after anybody who speaks the truth. Um, yeah, and they’re going after Breakthrough News because, you know, they’ve already destroyed many of the outlets that I used to be at. They already destroyed uh RT America where I used to have a show.
They destroyed Truth Dig where I used to write columns. They’ve they’ve been going after Mint Press where I used to have a show for years. Uh, they’ve gone after Mint Press. Mint Press also has a fund fundraising campaign right now. So, if you can support these outlets, uh, someone in the chat asked about Eugene per year. Eugene, also a friend of mine, great great journalist, great guy. Uh he left Breakthrough News several months ago. So I’m guessing like before this started, before the subpoena stuff started. I’m guessing uh that is why they’re not going after him, maybe because he’s not currently with Breaking News.
Uh but yeah, he he he just basically moved on. He was just uh burnt out from the daily reporting gig. Um, all right. Continuing in our news in my briefs and also uh this is this fits with the segue of the Trump administration going after any perceived enemies using the federal government to go after people that reveal the truth about the Trump administration, people that show an alternative to uh unfettered US imperial bombing of children. and they’re going after Ilhan Omar. Uh, federal agents search Ilhan Omar’s home as part of a criminal investigation.
Chapter 4: Ilhan Omar raid analysis
Now, most of you know I’m not that into electoralism anymore, but uh, it does seem like Ilhan Omar has mostly done great work. Uh, Omar criticized the raid. So, they raided her home. This just happened yesterday or today or something, maybe today. Uh Omar criticized the raid as an attempt by the Trump administration to target political enemies and weaponize law enforcement today in the Washington DC area. Homeland Security executed judicially authorized search warrant. This is a quote from the DOJ spokesperson. This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. Fox News reported that the search was related to a criminal fraud investigation concerning Omar’s immigration paperwork which her late father filled out when she was a child.
And I think what the what this is is and this has happened before that yet again Fox News has invented like a fake story and then Trump thinks that Fox News tells the truth. I don’t know why he got that idea. So, the Trump administration then acts on like [ __ ] that Fox News has uh has uh made up. And so, they Fox News made up some [ __ ] about Ilan Omar marrying her brother or something. And so, I think Trump and his administration believe they’re garbage. So, they then think they’re going to find something uh related to these madeup stories.
Anyway, that’s not uh not unusual for the Trump administration. So, that’s that’s your news in my briefs. All right, moving on. Uh but still on the topic of Donald Trump.
Chapter 5: Trump, Ukraine, and oil
Donald Trump has said essentially that he wants to get rid of Zalinski. Uh and the reason is basically I love I love like we can kill we can help kill as many Ukrainians, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians. We can help we kill Russians. None of that slows down our ruling elite pedo terrorists. But what does get them what does bother them is when gasoline or fuel is starts to get blown up or taken away or we can’t get as much as we want. Um, basically, uh, Ukraine has been targeting Russia’s diesel infrastructure and Trump is furious because he wants that oil for himself.
[laughter] He wants that oil on the word world market so that oil prices don’t go up as much so that the US economy doesn’t suffer as much and so that he can win the midterms, which he’s working very hard to rig and it’s it’s quite an it takes a lot of time. He’s a very tired man. Rigging midterms is not easy. Uh but he’s working very hard on that and anyway here he is speaking about Zalinski this war many times many many times and he cho he chooses not to. Sorry you missed the first word.
He said Zalinsky could have ended this war many many times and he chooses not to. Uh this also and I don’t know whether it’s a genuine misunderstanding of the Ukraine proxy war, whether Trump’s that dumb or whether he, you know, just knows this is the way to lie to the American people. But the Ukraine proxy war, as all, as all of you know by now, was created by the United States. We spent years creating it. We succeeded in creating it. We then viewed it as something that was useful to the United States because it allowed us to harm Russia in a multitude of ways.
I mean Russians uh getting killed every day. We didn’t we don’t care about Ukrainians. So Russians and Ukrainians murdering each other perfect for US empire. But more importantly it cuts off we’ve worked to cut off Russia and economically from much of the world especially Europe and blow up the Northstream pipelines. All of that hugely beneficial to the US. And so Trump is acting like I don’t know how this war started but and I’m going to make him southern for right now. I don’t know why. Uh, I don’t know how it happened. Zinsky won’t end the war.
What the what? And it’s it’s a remarkable level of either stupidity or lying. Now, we all know he lies endlessly, but he’s also quite stupid. So, it it could be either. I don’t know if you guys have a a stance on whether he’s a smart guy pushing propaganda or whether he’s just a dummy who thinks that the spoken reasons for the Ukraine war are the real reasons. But anyway, very difficult. Uh it’s a war that should have never been started. If I were president, if the election weren’t rigged, I would have been president and that war would have never started.
But he could have settled it many times and he chose not to. We said you can do whatever you want to Russia. don’t hit the refineries because that’s a world problem that now is it true that the proxy war in Ukraine wouldn’t have started with I if Trump had won his second term the first time around uh it’s tough to know for sure he is not pro-Russia because actually more sanctions were put on Russia while Trump was in office the first time than were put on Russia under Obama or Biden. So Trump either allowed or facilitated crazy amount of sanctions on Russia.
Uh the US empire was still anti-Russia under the first Trump administration. But it is true that the first time he was impeached in his first term. It had to do with refusing to send a certain kind of missile Java I believe Javelin missiles to Ukraine. So he was at least slowing the preparation for the proxy war. Uh now of course that you he he ultimately stopped that hold on the missiles and kept sending missiles to Ukraine thereby facilitating the leadup to the proxy war. So I I think it likely still would have happened. But you know I I assume that if he’d won that second term at least the proxy war in Ukraine would have been funnier.
So there’s that caused. And he wants to make problems for the world. He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers with diesel fuel because Russia supplies a lot. So in Trump’s view of this, Zillinski, now Zalinsky is an absolutely corrupt, disgusting Nazi aligned human being. All right, there’s nothing positive to say about Zillinsky. But it is funny that in Trump’s mind, what’s upsetting here is that Zalinsky made things hard for us because our because we want all that diesel. We want all that diesel fuel and to get to, you know, here’s the kind of closer to core reality that your mainstream media won’t bring you, which you can get from shows like this one.
The US does not give a [ __ ] as to how many people, innocent, children, doesn’t matter, die in Ukraine or Russia during this proxy war. Not for a second has it mattered. What clearly does matter is diesel fuel. That’s upsetting. That bothers Trump. Zalinsky has struck some of the refineries for the diesel fuel. It harms, he said, Trump just said, “It harms our farmers.” So, go ahead and kill each other. Go ahead and die. Allow your Nazis to go through the more Russian aligned areas of Ukraine and uh torture people and murder people. That’s all fine.
Not an issue. We love it. We love it. High five. Murder children that speak Russian. High five. But you hit the diesel fuel. You made it so there’s less fuel on the world market. Major problem, major issue. You are being an [ __ ] is the problem there. Portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world. And we told them do whatever you want, but don’t hit the diesel fuel. Like this is what I’ve always said about Trump. He’s absolutely a narcissistic pedoterrorist psychopath, but he will say it like it is sometimes. He legit just said, “You can do whatever you want.” Meaning, murder innocent people.
We don’t care. You can do whatever you want. Just don’t hit our oil or Russian oil because then the markets go up. That’s the problem. This is a big problem, big shortage. And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel. He can do whatever he wants, but he can’t do that because we have a world problem. And the problem is caused by the lack of refineries for diesel fuel. So what does he do? He goes and hits refineries. And I said to him, “Do what you want. Don’t hit refineries. There’s plenty of targets.
Don’t hit refiner.” And he went out and he hit and he’s not going to affect our farmers and he’s not going to affect our ranchers and he’s not going to affect the rest of the world. So, which is also, you know, to get to a little more of the reality underneath this. Farmers are struggling immensely across the United States, largely thanks to Donald Trump and Joe Biden. But like yeah, they they struggle more because diesel prices go up because the Linsky hits them. But farmers weren’t doing well before that. Trump has made far the life of farmers incredibly difficult.
Also, the the average farmer that’s not connected to corporate America, that’s not part of big a farmers have been uffering for years because big a big corporate a has completely destroyed their lives. Now, has is Trump standing up against that? Is he doing [ __ ] about that? No, cuz he doesn’t actually care about the farmers. The only thing he cares about is the farmers vote. He needs their vote in the midterms and he wants to run around saying farmers, farmers, farmers so that he can do well in the midterms. I mean, it is like I think it’s fairly transparent what this is.
This is a play to to try and get more votes and to try and ease he wants to ease the economics of the fuel because you know the prices of fuel because his his un unwarranted unprovoked uh murderous disgusting war criminal attack on Iran has made all those prices shoot up. So now Trump’s running around trying to find ways to make it cost a little less. He better damn well stop. By the way, I love that uh that Fox News, you can’t see this on the podcast, but Fox News uh has a running tally here in the bottom right corner.
Right now, it’s showing Georgia, but it’s been showing various states of the thousands of people. I believe Alabama was in the hundreds of thousands of people have power outages right now. Meaning Trump is failing at the most basic level to run American society. I assume those power outages are connected to uh storms. Uh I think uh the remnants of a hurricane, but you’ve got hundreds of thousands of people without power and one of the richest countries in the world can’t manage to go fix these people’s power or to do anything right by them because the people of America don’t matter.
We don’t [ __ ] matter to the ruling elite. These people are oligarchs. They are psychopaths and we don’t matter. and Fox News, which is Mr., you know, this is the proTrump channel, they’ve got a running tally of hundreds of thousands of people without power right now. Yeah, this guy’s really, this guy’s really running the country. Great. It’s going awesome. Um, so Zalinski is now saying he will halt the strikes on Russian oil refineries after Trump calls for a new Ukrainian president. So Trump had said, like, Zinsky will be out soon. And you know what’s interesting is Zilinsky and Netanyahu have a lot in common and Trump in that they have to stay in power or they would likely be in prison.
Uh Zilinsky might even be assassinated if he’s not in power because he wouldn’t he would no longer be uh protected by the by the Nazis and the Ukraine military [laughter] by the ASO battalion. Um but but at minimum he’d be in prison. I mean these are incredibly corrupt people. Netanyahu knows that he will be in prison if he loses the election. Trump it nearly went to prison when he lost the election the first time. So these people have to hang on to power in order to stay out of prison. These these ruling elite psychopaths are all in a quest to try and remain in power so that they’re not in prison.
And I always like to point out with almost all of them, maybe all of them, like like even with Netanyahu, the risk of going to prison prison does not have to do with them being war criminals. It does not have to do with them murdering innocent people. It doesn’t have to do with Trump bombing a Iranian school and killing a [ __ ] 160 little girls. None of that matter. That’s not the reason any of these people could go to prison. They could go to prison for various other kinds of corruption, usually financial, uh, you know, Netanyahu accepted gifts and things like that.
I haven’t kept up with all of his corruption that he’s been charged with. Uh, Zalinski has been stealing hundreds of millions, I believe, um, and and people around him. Uh it it’s it’s usually not it’s almost never has to do with the actual murderous actions they take. It has to do with the stuff that you know kind of harmed rich people usually where you know uh that that’s the stuff that can that can wind you up in prison. All right. I thought I’d play this one last uh Oh yeah. Uh oh yeah, I should add this aspect that Trump uh has proposed a USRussell diesel deal.
And both Republicans and Democrats are furious with this diesel deal for Russia. But of course, Trump is looking for any way to decrease gas prices because Iran has him by the balls. Iran’s got Trump by his little tiny insy teensy balls. and it’s uh it’s very upsetting to him. So, he’s now running around the world, including with countries that were at at proxy war with uh to try and get oil prices lower, including, you know, kidnapping Maduro and uh to make oil deals with Venezuela. So, why not commit that war crime in the process? But I thought I’d throw in this clip of Donald Trump on camera letting
Chapter 6: Trump’s commentary on fans
you know that his fans are so dumb they will cheer for the stupidest [ __ ] They will cheer when he says dumb [ __ ] No [ __ ] No, there’s such love. It’s like like I mean it’s amazing when you stand up here. It’s just like the love. I could say the stupidest things and you clap. Oh, I love you. So, I’m sure. And they clap at that, too. You can see the [laughter] woman behind him clapping for that. I could say the dumbest things and you will cheer for it. And they do.
And they do. And they cheered for that. I mean, it really is amazing. And of course, he the only way he could know that is if he himself knows he said dumb [ __ ] Now, you and I all know he said endless amounts of more. He’s probably said more dumb [ __ ] than perhaps any human ever has. It’s it’s arguable, but but quite possible. And yet even he knows that he’s saying dumb [ __ ] because the only way he’d know that these people cheer for idiot comments for absolute stupidity is if he had actually said some.
I mean, it’s amazing when you stand up here. It’s just like the love. I could say the stupidest things and you clap. Oh, I love you. So, that’s true. Uh, someone in the comments would like to tell me it’s a joke. Uh, yeah, there’s some sarcasm in it, but it’s based on reality. Now, I know you might not understand how how jokes work, but he understands that he is saying dumb [ __ ] and that people cheer for it any anyway, cuz if that were not the case at all, then the joke wouldn’t the the quote unquote joke wouldn’t work.
If these people were actually discerning as to whether what he said was positive or negative, then there would be no joke there. There’d be no sarcasm there to be had. the the joke is the fact that there is some truth in it. Um anyway, but yes, I I I I will admit that is not one of the most egregious things he’s ever done. Everything else he’s done is [laughter] is far worse. [gasps] All right, I’m going to move on. Uh I I’m going to move on to uh the answer to so I’ve got some stuff on Israel and the answer to how how do you answer when people say what about October 7th because you know that is one
Chapter 7: Responding to October 7th
of the responses that’s one of the most common responses when uh you start talking about uh anything about Israel you start talking about the genocide you start talking about murdering journalists you start talking about I’m I got a story coming up here in a moment about uh how Israel is has over 9,000 uh hostages right now, Palestinian hostages in their prisons. Whenever you start talking about this, idiots will say to you, “What about October 7th? What about October 7th?” And this is the best response I’ve ever seen. And so for those you listen to the podcast, this is a reporter who has just said to one of the protesters uh protesting genocide.
He’s just said, “What about October 7th?” And here is the response. You keep saying, “What about October 7th? What about October 7th? What about October 8th? What about October 9th? What about October 10th? What about October 11th? What about October 12th? What about October 13th? What about October 14th? What about October 15th? What about October 16th? What about October 17th? What about October 18th? What about October 19th? What about October 20th? What about October 21st? What about October 22nd? Let me question. [laughter] Oh, what a beautiful response. God, I love it. And he then the reporter then starts trying to interrupt and the guy says, “No, no, no.
Let me finish the answer. You asked a question. Let me finish the answer. And it’s so true because anybody with with with half a brain cell who’s willing to be genuine for just a second, a split second, will admit that every single one of those days is a genocide. Because as most of you know, the definition of genocide does not require the completion of murdering all or of a group of people. It is an attempt at murdering a even a portion of a people for who they are for being gazin. And so every single one of those days is a genocide.
So when you say what about October 8th, you’re saying what about that day that was a genocide? What about October 9th? That was a day that was a genocide. What about October 10th? That was a day that was a genocide. Anyway, he keeps going. I’ll play I’ll play a few more seconds because uh this it makes me feel very good. Let me finish [music] answering. What about October 23rd? What about October 24th? What about October 25th? What about October 26th? [music] What about October 27th? What about October 28th? What about October? And the other great thing is the the whoever’s questioning you that gets that response, they have essentially no choice except either to like pull up a chair and sit down while you list every day for three straight years, which they’re not going to do, or they have the the other choice, which is to ultimately walk away and walk away knowing that they are a [ __ ] stain on humanity because they don’t care about any of those days.
They only care about one day that if you’ve been following my stuff, if you’ve read my stuff on Substack, you know it was one day that Netanyahu knew exactly what was going to happen, allowed it to happen, facilitated it, and then used the IDF via the Hannibal directive to murder hundreds upon hundreds of people on that day. So if you want to say I if you want to ignore this answer which I think this is the best answer to give. If you want to ignore that answer and just focus on October 7th. Okay. Well let’s talk about the uh the murdering of hundreds of people on October 7th by Israel.
They murdered hundreds of their own people along with Palestinians. So where’s that discussion? Oh no. They don’t want to have that. uh they don’t want to have that discussion either. But that is definitely one of the best answers I’ve heard to the what about October 7 [ __ ] Um, continuing
Chapter 8: Protests in Colombia
on this topic, uh, there’s been large-scale protests in Colombia against the So, you know, the US helped rig the election there and, uh, Colombia now has a right-wing president, which is he is, uh, sorry, he is, uh, now restarting uh, uh diplomatic relations with Israel. And anyway, here’s some of Al Jazzer talking about the protests against him based on that protests and spoke to demonstrators. Despite the rain, hundreds of mostly young people, many of them university students, took to the streets here in the capital of Colombia, Bogotaa, to continue protesting the ongoing genocide in Gaza on the third anniversary of the attack by Hamas that triggered the war by Israel in Gaza that three years later has killed more than 70,000 Palestinians and created absolute devastation in the strip.
people here waving Palestinian flags, wearing uh Palestinian scarves, calling for a free Palestine, and also protesting Colombia’s government decision to restore diplomatic and commercial relationships with Israel. We have a lot of messages. The main thing I think right now is not only reminding that this didn’t start on October 7, that we have been fighting with the same genocide since 1947. people. Yeah, that’s another great point that should always be highlighted is this didn’t actually start October 7th. This was an ongoing uh effort at ethnic cleansing and at genocide. It just has gotten far quicker, far more horrific in kind of a full frontal livereamed kind of way and uh yeah, just far faster than it had been.
Often forget that, you know, it didn’t start in 2023. As Latin Americans who’ve resisted and experienced Spanish colonialism and later American neo colonialism, we understand that these struggles are shared by the entire world. The protest began in front of the new. So that’s going on in Colombia, of course, getting essentially zero uh Western media coverage. We are now at I wanted to highlight this. We’re now at 55 nations across this planet that have some kind of sanctions on Israel.
Chapter 9: Israel as a global pariah
And this article from Harets, which is an Israeli newspaper, is asking, could Israel become a pariah like Iran? Now, you and I know that the only reason Ariah, sorry, the only reason Iran became a pariah is because the US along with our allies uh have been going at Iran for years. uh because Iran threw the US out and the US puppet leaders out and nationalized their oil and the US in order to defend the pro dollar has gone after uh every country that uh nationalized their oil and went outside the US dollar including Venezuela, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Syria, all of those.
So um uh uh uh but so that’s why Iran became a pariah. But this article is asking whether Israel is becoming a pariah in the world. And there are 55 nations with sanctions on Israel. The thing is several of those countries are not actually largecale sanctions. They’re rather little tiny pin pricks uh such as sanctions on the uh West Bank settlements done by Israel. Uh and and those little pin pricks are kind of done to say like look, we’re not okay with the land pillaging that’s currently happening. We’re okay with all the land pillaging that happened for decades, but right now, you know, it’s kind of to pretend like they’re not okay with it.
Um, and so I just want to high I I want I want to say this does not mean that all of these countries have massive sanctions on Israel, but that doesn’t mean it’s not hurting Israel. Uh, this is uh I don’t know who this is someone they’re quoting from, but he says Israel is an island nation. It has no complex system that is produced solely from Israeli components. So if for example sanctions are imposed on the import of chips to Israel, it will be a lot harder to produce weapons systems here. His point is it’s essentially an island nation.
Like almost nothing is fully produced within Israel outside of maybe olive oil. [laughter] So I don’t know if you could if you could stop Israel from getting their olive oil, but um and of course that’s got its own story in that they’ve been destroying Palestinian olive farms. They they will uproot and pour cement into olive tree trunks that have been that are hundreds if not thousands of years old in order to destroy the the farmers efforts uh and to destroy their income. But that was a tangent. My point is Israel is essentially an island nation and it needs these partnerships with so many countries to even exist, especially the US but to even exist.
And so as more sanctions build up, as BDS grows, it is making Israel have a lot of difficulty functioning. A senior government official said there is immense uncertainty here and some of the scenarios are very painful. Officials point to extreme scenarios such as the cancellation of the EU’s trade agreement with Israel. If that were to happen, Israel would officially become the new South Africa, which was boycotted during the apartheid regime, the pariah state of the world. So far, the only major country that hasn’t imposed government sanctions is the United States. So, basically, all major countries have some kind of sanctions on Israel.
And it just goes to show how how increasingly hated Israel is becoming around the world. Um, so I said I was going to talk about the thousands because I haven’t in a while. The thousands of people Israel
Chapter 10: Palestinian hostages
has in torture camps. You know, I I mentioned this a lot back when Hamas had hostages. And so the talking point of pro-Israel goons was if Hamas wanted the the killing to stop, they’d give back the hostages. if they just return the hostages, then the genocide would be over, the war would be over, whatever they called it. Of course, it was [ __ ] because now all the hostages have been returned uh or are dead and many of them killed by Israel. And it it was [ __ ] right? The genocide has continued. The genocide continues today.
Uh almost every single day of the quote unquote ceasefire, Israel has bombed somewhere in Gaza and they shoot children in the head and they continue the starvation, etc. But throughout all of that time, Israel didn’t have tens of hostages, didn’t have hundreds of hostages. They had over 10,000 Palestinian hostages. Over 10,000. Now, according to this estimate, uh, again, published in Harets, which is a Israeli newspaper, um, they have over they still have over 9,000 Palestinian hostages in torture camps. Most of these Palestinians have never been prosecuted or tried for any crime. Uh 16% 16% have actually been prosecuted of for anything uh convicted of anything.
In September, Israel was holding holding 9,329 security quote unquote security prisoners, but only 16% have been charged and convicted in court. The rest were detainees. These are these are terms these are [ __ ] terms they use to describe their prisoners so that they can say they’re not prisoners detainees 34% administrative detainees 34% and unlawful combatants 16%. A status not recognized under international law that Israel uses to imprison gazins Syrians and Lebanese without granting them the rights of prisoners of war or of criminal detaininees. Basically they have no rights. Um, so only 16% of the 9300 hostages being tortured have been convicted of anything.
And keep in mind that is in a completely rigged legal system that Israel has. Still, it’s only 16%. In 2024, for example, oh, so, so now this gets to something else you never hear mentioned. This is this is this is core reality that you cannot hear mentioned on mainstream media ever. And it is that Israel has accidentally tacitly admitted that their reasons for holding these hostages are [ __ ] Because if you were to ask an Israeli or Israeli government official or whatever why they have this 9 to 10,000 Palestinians hostages, they would say, “Oh, well, they are combatants or they are terrorists.” Right?
That’s what they’d say. That’s why they’re there. They’re combatants or they’re terrorists or they’re something like that. However, in 2024, some 5,000 prisoners were released. Now, they’re they’re imprisoning an equal number as they release them. So, the number barely or never goes down. Uh, you know, it’s gone down maybe a few hundred since three years ago because they’re arrest they’re putting people in their torture camps at the same time they’re letting them out. uh or at the same at a close to the same rate. However, in 2024, for example, some 5,000 prisoners were released, although no hostage for prisoner exchange took place that year.
They were just released. In some cases, prisoners are released because their detention, whether administrative or otherwise, has ended without prosecution or conviction, meaning they were tortured in a prison for months, if not years, and then released without a trial, conviction, nothing. No legal due process. So the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners every month calls into question Ben Gavir’s claim that they are terrorists or dangerous prisoners. And not just Ben Gavir’s claim, but many Israeli Israelis will will claim this. So it’s clearly [ __ ] because if they were terrorists and combatants, they would not be released by Israel.
So, Israel is putting these people into torture camps, torturing them often for months or years, then releasing them probably because they have so destroyed them that they Israel is like, “Yeah, go ahead and let them out. We’ve we’ve destroyed them mentally.” Uh they, you know, are a shell of what they were. And that that that’s probably how their plan works. Um, but it is amazing that in all of these debates about Israel, about Israel, what Israel does, about how Israel is behaving, when there were hostages held by Hamas, and now that there aren’t hostages held by Hamas, people never mention the thousands of hostages that Israel is holding.
Over 9,000 now. Over 10,000 when October 7th began. Tens of thousands of hostages. I mean, it’s our $10,000. It’s It’s crazy. So, on this same topic, uh I love this effort. There’s an effort, a growing effort to make sure
Chapter 11: Accountability for genocide
that the Biden officials who were in charge of overseeing this genocide when it first started, I mean, the genocide after October 7th, uh, not end up back in federal office, statewide office, like they should, their career should be over. If you were part and party to genocide, your career should be over. And so the efforts grow to hold complicit Biden officials accountable for Gaza. Three years after October 7th’s attacks, progressive advocacy groups are organizing to keep former Biden administrative officials they blame for the carnage in Gaza out of future Democratic administrations. This is a quote from the director of the American Committee for Middle East Rights.
Being complic complicit in genocide should be enough to stop you from being a part of the foreign policy establishment again in the future. But that’s just not the way it works for right now. Yeah, it should it should mean the end of your career, political career. Honestly, it should mean the end of all your careers. No one should ever speak to you again. Really, you were part of a genocide. That should be the end of your allowance to talk to humans. We just revoked your allowance to speak to others because you were part of committing genocide.
By group plans to launch on record, that’s one word, a database featuring report cards on former US officials who oversaw Middle East policy. while #drop the genocide 20 which seeks to ostracize 20 former Biden appointees debuted last month. So they’ve picked 20 people within the Biden administration to try and keep out of future administrations. We don’t want Tony B Tony Blinken or Jake Sullivan and friends the Biden bros anywhere near your foreign policy if and when uh you become president. They’re talking to uh I don’t know who they mean by you become president, but whatever.
If if and when a Democrat becomes president, uh don’t you dare let those guys back in. The efforts remain in their early stages and dropped the genocide 20 has been endorsed by only a handful of organizations so far, but it is growing. Blink, Biden’s Secretary of State, has sought to defend his record. So, this is funny. These guys, because they know, like these guys are playing the long game. They know the Democrats will be in power if not this next election, the one after that. Like it it just flips and flops back and forth between the two limp dicks of [laughter] of capitalist domination.
So they know it’s Republican, Democrat, it’s Republican. And the the the guys that were at the top of the Biden administration, many of them were prevalent in the Obama administration and they just come on back when the next one comes in. And so they’re trying to just like slightly distance themselves from Israel. They don’t like they’re not fully distancing because they still want to be aligned with Israel, but they’re doing a little bit of like, well, we made some mistakes. Don’t you love the we made some mistakes [ __ ] Wouldn’t it be great if every serial killer could just be like, “Look, I made some mistakes.” You know, Jeffrey Dalmer was like, “I look, I made some mistakes.
Okay, I think it’s okay that I can now be president. Look, look guys, if uh [ __ ] Paddock, who the biggest mass shooter of all time, was like like look, I made some mistakes, but I think I would still make a great senator. Anyway, Blinken, Biden Secretary of State, has sought to defend his record, acknowledging some mistakes. quote, “How can you not have regrets given the toll that this took on innocent men, women, and children? Blinkin is upset. He never knew. He never knew committing genocide was going to harm men, women, and children.” By the way, it wasn’t like Blinken was distanced from this.
He had an office in Tel Aviv in the idea of headquarters like on October 8th and 9th. Blink was there approving genocide, high-fiving and thumbs uping and dapping up genocide. But Blinken was all about it. John Feiner, who served as Biden’s deputy national security adviser, has been more willing than some to admit fault. During Biden’s re-election campaign, Feiner told Arab and Muslim leaders in Michigan that quote, “We are very well aware that we have missteped in the course of responding to this crisis. We missteped.” That That’s what you want to hear from someone who’s committed genocide, right?
We We misstepped into genocide. Yeah. Look, you’ve been walking down the street before and you’ve stepped in, you know, something bad, some dog [ __ ] or something, right? You’ve been there. Yeah. It’s like this. It’s very we we weren’t looking where we were walking and we stepped into genocide. It happens. What What you going to do? So anyway, I really appreciate these efforts to uh to stop these genocidal psychopaths from getting back into office. Now, I will say that whoever the Democrats put forward at the next election cycle, they will be a psychopath. Like that that’s the only way you get to that point.
if you’re Gavin Newsome or whoever or Kla Harris or like the only way you get to that level that you’re even in the conversation of who the Democrats are going to approve to run the US the the murderous US empire you had to be a genocide all I mean a psychopath all along in order to even get there you had to be you know maybe maybe a psychopath light I’ll give you that maybe the lighter kind variety of psychopath Uh, like at this point, you’re lucky if they’re not a pedophile. Like that’s that’s what it is.
And of course, I’m talking about the Democrats. Same same for the Republicans. It’s just that the Republican voters don’t seem to care. They’re they’re like, “Ah, pedophile. What? Whatever. That’s fine. That’s fine. I’ll take a take a good old pedophile.” Um, all right. I’m going to go keep going here. I’m going to play uh a clip of Ben Shapiro getting absolutely owned. Uh, and hopefully I’ll also have time for Seinfeld, Jerry Seinfeld getting absolutely owned. All that and more hopefully coming up right now. I just wanted to pause for one second and
Chapter 12: Audience interaction
say there are a few free things don’t cost you a penny that you can do to help this show and my work continue. And if you’re not willing to even do the free things to help this show continue, then you should you should probably hang up. If this were a telephone from the 1980s, you should hang up because if you’re not even willing to do the free stuff to help the the show continue, then I I I don’t know who you are. I I don’t know what’s going on in your life. One free thing you can do is not just subscribe to this channel, which is called Moment of Clarity.
Uh the YouTube channel, if you’re watching this on another platform, go to youtube.com/moment of clarity, I believe, and it’ll take you there. Hit subscribe. The other thing you do, if you’re already subscribed to this channel, my main channel, subscribe to my secondary channel, which is youtube.coml33amp. L33amp. And again, free. Then when you click subscribe, change the very important, change the alerts, which is next to the subscribe button, little carrot thingy there. They try and hide it as much as possible. They’re trying if there were something they could put it under. Like if they had like a pile of papers, they could just slip that under.
They would totally YouTube would totally put that there. They don’t want you to change your alerts because they want to decide what you hear about, what videos you hear about. And from videos like mine, they don’t want to tell you about it. So, they’d prefer you not change that to all. I hope you see fit to do that. So, go to youtube.coml33amp, hit subscribe, change the alerts to all. that will help my channel grow. That’s a new channel. I’m just I need a backup channel. It also might uh help help alert you more often than the than the current main channel.
All right, so that’s one thing. The second thing you can do for absolutely free is go to realleagueamp.substack.com and subscribe for free. Uh it it means you are likely at least most of the time to get uh the emails about my work, about my Substack columns uh etc. So, subscribe for free there. Now, if you want to go above and beyond and be one of the people that actually keeps this show going with 33 cents an episode, then I hope you will go to uh really.substack.com and become a subscriber or patreon.com/lecamp. Uh it cost a whopping $8 a month.
It’s the cost of a beer a month. Keeps this show going. And what do you get? I know. I know what you’re saying. You’re like, I don’t want to just support you to keep the show going. [ __ ] that, man. Give me something. I hear you. I hear I hear you. Give me lots of stuff. I hear you. Uh, you get my ebook, Dangerous Ideas. Once you sign up, you also get both my comedy specials from this past year. Uh, one is called uh uh something like genocidal apartheid anchor baby, I think. [laughter] Can’t remember the names of my own specials.
Uh the they were taped live in New York City. The other one is called uh brain uh sorry nationalism is a brain parasite. Taped live New York City uh two half hour specials, standup comedy specials. You’ll get both of those once you sign up. I’ll email them to you. And then the last thing is you get extra content with every column because I do I basically I write the column and then I throw in some extra for those who are members. So it would be amazing if you could join up patreon.comamp or really.substack.com. substack.com. Okay, let’s see.
Nat says, “If we’re Substack subscribers, can we see your specials?” Yes. The truth is, if you became a Substack or a subscriber to any of my platforms before like eight months ago, then I didn’t know to email you the specials because uh because you signed up earlier. So, what you can do, Nat, in the comments, to get my specials is just email me and ask for them. And that’s leecampmailgmail.com. lecampmail@gmail.com. Uh, title it I’m a Substack subscriber or something and I will get those uh, standup comedy special links to you. Uh, you can also find them yourself.
If you’re a subscriber on Subject, you can find them yourself, but it’s easier for me to probably send them to you so that you don’t have to go s go a searching. All right, let’s keep moving. Oh, and everything I do is podcast. So, if you’re a podcast person, uh that would be amazing uh for you to uh someone’s asking about Oh, I missed it. Super chat. Thank you. Uh Chase Steiner for the super chat. Chase says, “I really love your show. Why do you think none of the progressive Democrats, even the ones who spoke up against genocide in Gaza, have spoken against the proxy war in Ukraine?” Uh because they’re spineless, I guess, basically.
Uh, thank you again, Chase, for supporting the show with the super chat. That’s awesome. Um, basically the genocide in Gaza has gotten so intense and the protests against it have gotten so intense that some of the progressives have seen the writing on the wall and and felt like they had enough cover to come forward and stand up against it. That is what happened. It it got so in yourrface with the proxy war in Ukraine. That has not happened. Like, yes, some of us have been at uh uh protests to stop the war in Ukraine. That certainly happened.
Some of us have been speaking out against it since day one or since before it happened. But that is not enough. That is not enough for those progressives in office to think that it’s worth it for them to go against the mainstream pro-war [ __ ] sentiment. Um it’s is what it is. I mean, that’s the truth for most of them. With Israel, it it just became so powerful. The movement against that genocide has become so powerful that some and it’s again, it’s still not a huge number, but some of the progressives have felt like they had enough cover that they could come out against the genocide and still uh still get votes and still be safe on mainstream media, etc.
Uh whereas with the proxy war in Ukraine, that hasn’t been the case. Okay, I got to keep going.
Chapter 13: Ben Shapiro on reparations
Uh here’s Ben getting completely and he gets he gets owned so quietly and so gently. He was on this uh show with Charlemagne the God. That’s what he goes by. And uh I don’t actually particularly like the guy, but he does a good job on this one. [laughter] I’m nailing Ben Shapiro. Um, Benjamin is talking about reparations and anyway, I think the rest is self-explanatory. I think that on a on a sort of public policy level, reparative policies don’t tend to be nearly as effective as by reparative policies, he means reparations. Ben Shapiro is one of the like best I’ve ever seen at finding four words to say one words to I just said to say one words to say one word.
uh finding four words to say one word because he, you know, loves to sound smart. It means so much to him. I mean, when you have when when you’re so insecure as a human being and you’re such a little boy and you like look like a little boy, too, it it means a lot to him to to use longer words and to use as many words as possible. So, when he says reparative policies, he means reparations [laughter] as people want them to be. Historically speaking, for Jewish people, uh, in what way? Do you people ever receive reparations?
Uh, you mean Holocaust reparations for example from Germany? So I think that first of all Okay. So now before Benjar starts doing his song and dance he just got completely owned because he said reparations don’t they don’t actually work. They don’t do anything. And then Charlink goes what about the reparations for Jewish people? Because many Holocaust survivors have gotten reparations. And not only have many Holocaust survivors gotten reparations, but you the entirety of the Israel project was kind of a form of reparations, especially Germany’s support of it. Uh now it was a horrific form of reparations.
It it was we go go to this area of the world and go ahead and commit ethnic cleansing and uh steal the land and genocide whoever you want. It was horrific form of reparations, but it was reparations. [laughter] And anyway, so Benjamir is like, “What? What do you mean?” Well, that there was like a a gigantic fight actually in Israel over whether Holocaust survivors should accept reparations. Okay, so his argument is there was a fight over whether they should accept them. Well, that doesn’t change their effective. It doesn’t matter whether there was a fight to accept them or not.
That’s not really that’s neither neither here nor there, as they say, from Germany. Um because the the idea was that that it’s allowing them to expedate their their sins of the past and they shouldn’t be allowed to expedate expedate. He he just means atone for their sins. [laughter] He just he’s got to find he’s got to find a big word. It makes him feel very good about himself. Oh, poor Ben Shapiro. Those sins and it’s allowing him to sort of buy off the the the history for 50 grand or whatever it is. Um but that that is not the reason.
[gasps] And you know, he mocks this idea of it’s allowing Germany to buy off their sins or whatever, but Germany has been buying off those sins for years. To this day, Germany endorses the genocide that Israel is committing. So whether they gave money to people or not to this day and and I’m assuming that because because Ben Shapiro more than anyone uh approves of facilitates, endorses, does propaganda for the the Israel and the genocide in Gaza. Uh he probably loves I’m sure he loves that Germany supports Israel, supports the next biggest genocide. I mean in terms of live streaming you know in terms of global discussion of it uh he Germany endorses it 100%.
Why Israel has become successful economically like just on a success level of course if you actually study Israel’s economics especially now uh the only reason Israel can sustain economically is because the US backs them. The US backs them with military weaponry. The US backs them uh with, you know, bonds and treasuries without if the US were to pull out economically and US allies were to pull out economically from Israel. It would it would either collapse overnight or it would be just the darkest, ugliest uh depression Israel’s ever seen. The reality is that cutting people checks rarely makes them more successful.
And that’s a form of cutting checks, right? That is sending billions to Israel. So he he you know it’s not sending checks to the individual citizens. So he’s trying to differentiate between the two when there is no difference. It is a form of sending money to facilitate the society to keep going from the government. What usually makes people more successful is a is a determined attempt to become the things that the meritocracy demands of you. Right. there is no meritocracy. Um, if you look at just about anybody who has any form of success quote unquote in our society, uh, and we also need to debate, this is this is getting closer to core reality that Ben Shapiro would never touch with a 10-ft pole.
But you have to debate the term success. Is success just having lots of money? Is that so Elon Musk is the most successful person? I actually think he’s the most failed one of the most failed human beings that uh that you could create. Uh the amount of harm he’s done. He’s Wow. What is wrong with me? The amount of harm he’s done. Uh I was going to say doing and then I said done. Uh the amount of harm he’s done. uh the the uh amount the the amount of uh like in terms of his just his belief systems and putting forward the amount of propaganda he puts forward.
So you could order or argue about success success I would argue for a human being is far different than that. Uh it is whether you benefit your community. It’s whether you, you know, you and and obviously you could have uh different ways to measure success, but Ben Sher only views it as the money in your bank account. How how much money you’ve gotten, maybe maybe also how much you allow genocide. How much you support genocide? I suppose Ben Shiro would say that’s one view of success. Um but then he also pretends we have a meritocracy.
But in fact, if you look at essentially anyone who’s achieved some success in our society, they’ve had some leg up at some point in this system. And the very rare occasion where someone started poor, was not of the dominant class, was not of the dominant race, and achieved. Let’s for a moment pretend that money or getting higher up in a corporation is uh is success. Let’s pretend that counts as success. In the rare occasion that they had none of those things, no leg up, they weren’t they weren’t a white man in a society that facilitates white men achieving quote unquote success, etc.
It’s the exception of proves the rule. It’s an incredible rarity. Uh you have, you know, Ben Shapiro went to Harvard and and came from a moderately wealthy family or a middle-ass family. Like there’s so many just benefits. The the type of schooling he got. Uh I don’t even mean just Harvard, but prior to Harvard, the type of schooling that allowed him to get into Harvard. Uh I don’t even know about his family. I don’t know whether his parents went to Harvard. a lot of people that get into these Ivy League schools had alums that graduated from there and therefore uh there’s a lot of uh benefit to that.
Anyway, you could go down the list, but it’s not a meritocracy. Uh and in fact, almost every single little different in industry within our society is not a meritocracy. Uh, for a lot of years I thought standup comedy where I, you know, spent 25 years of my life. Uh, for a for several of those years when I first was getting into it, I really I thought it was a meritocracy. I thought the best comedians rise to the top. No, not really. There occasionally there’s some great ones that rise to the top, but there’s a lot of amazing comedians that are not allowed to rise to the top.
uh if they’re talking about real [ __ ] if they’re just not the type of person that’s uh more that’s more likely to get highlighted on these shows, there’s a lot of things that make it not a meritocracy. I mean, you look at some of the biggest Netflix specials in the world in the past several years. It’s a lot of garbage comedy. So, it’s like music. Music’s not a meritocracy. Not if you’re talking about being played on radio, etc. Anyway, I’m getting way off way a field here. There there were no long you know long scale think the US foreign assistance for Israel has helped us financially.
Well I mean the US foreign assistance for Israel actually is a bargain for the United States because but so that’s one of his talking points is like when people bring up Israeli assistance he says it’s a bargain for the United States but again neither here nor there. His this discussion he’s having started as whether sending money to people reparations benefits a society or a people. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a bargain for the society sending the money or not, but he’s going to go off on a tangent about how much the United States gets by funding Israel.
Uh even if we were agree, hey, the US has an unsinkable battleship in the middle of the middle of the Middle East. Uh it’s great idea to send them money, still does not answer the question, which is do those billions that are sent to Israel not benefit Israel, whether it’s sent in arms, weapons or not? Of course, it benefits Israel. It benefits Israel’s ability to harm others, to to quote unquote defend itself, to commit their genocide, etc. Israel doesn’t need the money. Is I’ve said this before, Israel. [laughter] Israel doesn’t need the money. That’s That’s really hilarious.
To us, we’ll take it. That’s fine. The black community would gladly take that. That’s in That’s fair. It’s like $3 billion a year. We should point out at this point that we spend I think six billion dollars a year on our uh it’s way more than that during this genocide because we have sent more to Israel than our average three billion a year. Um and it doesn’t he then goes you know we spent more than that on that it doesn’t matter that again is not the question. The question was whe whether reparations whether sending money to people is useful.
Of course the answer is yes but he doesn’t want to say yes. military bases in Japan, $5 billion a year on our military bases in Germany. Okay. So, that still doesn’t also I I believe I believe it’s 30 billion sent to Israel. May maybe since October 7th, so maybe three years or something. I don’t know. But I I thought I saw the number 30 billion. An awful lot of money that that helps an awful lot of other countries. Israel has to spend all of that money, by the way, in the United States on military product.
So So all of the money that we send to we actually don’t send money to Israel. we send military product to Israel. So, he’s acting like that doesn’t count as sending them money. If you’re sending them giant weapons and death machines, that’s you’ve you’ve bought them those death machines. So, it’s still sending them money. It’s he’s it’s really semantics. Anyway, he got uh I I think that’s essentially the end of the clip, but clip, but it got totally destroyed. Charlemagne said about four things, [laughter] four words just ripped ripped Benjiro’s whole case apart. But Benjiro is an expert at just talking in circles.
Like it doesn’t matter. Most people who listen to this maybe aren’t able to couch how he is talking about things. So they hear him say it’s a bargain and they go, “Okay, that’s a good answer.” No, it’s not a good answer because he didn’t actually answer the question. uh he just keeps talking and he thinks I mean he knows that if you throw enough words at people fast enough a certain percentage will agree or will get lost and think they agreed or lose interest because they don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. All right, let’s jump to and I’ll probably make this the last story.
Uh I am going way over time for you though. Um, le let’s jump to this is
Chapter 14: Seinfeld and genocide
Jerry Seinfeld, genocider. And well, he’s not he doesn’t commit the genocide, but he does endorse genocide. He loves genocide. Big genocide supporter. Jerry Seinfeld. This is him getting heckled and interrupted. And I also want to show you his response, his insane response to when people interrupt him because he supports genocide. He supports Israel. And and let me be clear here, he doesn’t just like lightly support, you know, it’s not like he’s never spoken out against Israel. No, Seinfeld has very vocally supported Israel. He also has sent money to Israel. He also has paid for his family to go on like an IDF training vacation or whatever the [laughter] hell it is.
I mean, I can’t even believe these words go together. The IDF has some sort of program where you spend thousands of dollars and you can go over there and like shoot at uh terrorist targets. not actual people, but they’re like, “Oh, it’s a cut out of Hamas and you get to shoot at that and see how machine guns work.” It’s totally repulsive. Uh this because this is a genocidal apartite ethnostate and they’re showing you how to do it. How to do it. Thank you, Chase Steiner, for uh supporting the show again. Uh have you seen the protests in France?
Yes, the protests in France are gigantic and I will be probably covering them on the next show. thanks for pointing that out. Um, can’t it it is frustrating. I can’t get to every topic on every episode, but I do my best. Anyway, so the other thing that’s really frustrating about showing, you know, Jerry Seinfeld supporting this garbage is, uh, he was definitely a hero of mine when I was a little kid. Uh when I was like 12 years old, I read his book cuz Seinfeld, the TV show, was popular then. And he put out a book of his stand-up comedy writing and I was starting to write comedy at 12 and reading his book and like seeing how the jokes are crafted and things like that.
Uh, also at the beginning of the book, he talks about how it was, you know, I just started writing down these ideas when I was a kid, and I never knew they’d be anything important and and it kind of inspired me to be like, “Yeah, I could write down things.” And anyway, very important to me. Uh, and my and my uh origin story as a stand-up comic and a humor writer and everything. And of course, that then led to a lot of other things and my TV show and everything else. Uh, but everything I’ve seen just a garbage human being.
I have not seen really anything positive about Jerry Seinfeld as a human being. Um, and and even on there’s there’s another point I should make here, which is going into the genocide. So, prior to October 7th, Jerry Seinfeld, as far as I knew, never made a single political statement in his life. just did not talk about politics. It was not his thing. Even when he was asked, there was some interview with uh Ellen Degenerous. She ended up being a garbage human being, too. But where she said, you know, aren’t you aren’t you worried about climate change or climate crisis or whatever.
And he shrugs it off. He’s like, I don’t know. It’s something for our kids to deal with. Every every generation has their little thing to deal with. Uh and he he says, uh, you know, ours was Vietnam War. theirs is going to be climate change. It’s like little thing to deal like this is existential threat to the entirety of the biosphere that supports our life, but it’s a little thing to deal with. Anyway, my point is just not political at all. Just didn’t even mention politics. And then October 7th happens and he wants to support Israel as they commit genocide.
It really is breathtaking. So, here he is recent. This this one’s this first one’s recent. Uh him being interrupted during I believe a show in uh oh, was it Australia? I mean, sorry. Was it uh Chicago? I thought it was Australia, but okay. Chicago theater. Okay. The other one I’m The other one I’m going to show is Australia. Anyway, perhaps it was the self ser [screaming] Instagram blows. God, I hate Instagram. I would just assume you’ve had enough. I’ve definitely had enough. I would just assume you’ve had enough. I’ve definitely had enough. Perhaps it was the cell service provider themselves.
I went, “You know what? Well, I had enough of genocide. 75,000 Palestinian.” She says 74,000 Palestinians have been killed. I also You also got to appreciate all of the [ __ ] pathetic people in that audience who have come to hear Seinfeld tell jokes about his cell phones and everything. And look, I have jokes about cell phones. I’m not saying that’s a problem, but if you’re going to have jokes about cell phone and meanwhile never say [ __ ] against a genocide, like what the [ __ ] And to be in that audience and be like, “Boo, don’t talk about the children that are murdered that Seinfeld endorses with your with our taxpayer money.
22,000 posted our children that were killed with our tax money with our tax money. And you’re making jokes. You’re making jokes. Your legacy is racism. You’re uh so you can’t hear him in that. Uh I don’t know if he said anything, but in this other clip from several months ago, he did respond to them. and what he says is just so pathetic. Uh, and here’s the other thing. As a stand-up comic, I don’t like people interrupting, but I’m also not endorsing genocide. It’s like, yeah, people interrupting sucks. And if you’re interrupting for some dumb reason, like, you just want to talk out loud while someone performs, then you’re a shitty person.
Don’t do that. But if you’re interrupting because the guy on stage is a genocide supporter helping helping to fund like I I know he’s donated to like Israeli causes and when you go over there on the IDF vacation holiday you pay them thousands of dollars that the IDF uses so you are funding the IDF. Like then you shouldn’t expect to not be interrupted. Like if you are that shitty of a human being don’t expect to not be interrupted. Anyway, here here he was several months ago in uh Australia. What’s that? Oh, you’re back. They’re back.
The protesters are back. I missed you. So funny. I’ve missed you. Oh, you’re not doing well. It’s so hard for Now, here’s the thing. Yes. this his response gets a laugh because this is his paying audience. These are people that paid a lot of money to see Jerry Seinfeld despite him being a genocide endorser and they are there for him. So, of course, they’re going to laugh. Now, anyone watching this who’s not a diehard Jerry Seinfeld is always funny person, this is really sad and pathetic. Oh, it’s so hard for you re like that’s just disgusting.
You’re just a disgusting human to make these jokes about people who care about children being murdered. Well, it’s so hard for you. You gota Yes. Listen, dude. Listen. Listen. Let me explain something. You and I are in the same business. And this response is so ridiculous. We’re in the same business. Our business is to get people to see things the way we see them. The problem is you’re in the wrong place. Do you hear how well I’m doing? This is what you want. You want to do well like I am. Look for the people here.
They hear me. Look at what happened to you. I think he means that they were dragged out of the of the place. And I I think this version of the clip I’ll keep playing. Maybe he says it later. Well, let me just keep playing it. I’ll see. [cheering] [applause] Because context is very important for your message. For example, if I was going to do my little comedy show that I do, if I went to a Australian rules rugby game and I told this guy, I love this guy. [laughter] If I said to this guy, you check out I’m going to do my comedy act here.
I would get that same reaction. I would get [laughter] picked it out on my ass because that’s not where I belong. Here’s the other thing I think. So, he’s saying you picked the wrong spot. You shouldn’t be interrupting my comedy show. Meaning, you should perform because he’s performing to like-minded folks or people who want to hear his comedy. But no, that’s the opposite of how protest works. You disingenuous piece of [ __ ] protest is not meant to speak to people who just want to hear the message because then that’s not a protest. That’s a parade.
And if those people who interrupted his show were to go, “Hey, let’s find seven people that all endorse Palestine and hate the genocide and we’ll then yell at them that there’s a genocide happening.” That’s what Jerry Samville just recommended because he said go to where he said context is important. Go to where you’re basically appreciated or loved or people agree with you. Uh no, that’s the opposite of what they should do. If you want to change things, if you want to change anyone’s mind, yelling at people that already agree with you is meaningless. It is pointless.
And in fact, it’s one of my larger criticisms of most what we call a protest in in this country in a lot of countries is people that get together and uh and talk about these things when they all agree. Now, I have said there are some uses to large protests because it can turn people on who who haven’t been uh protesters in the past. It can turn on people into being activists. But in general, the point should be to change people’s minds who aren’t agreeing with you. And he says, “Oh, and look, I’m doing so well cuz I’m getting laughs because people agree with me and you got dragged out of here, so that shows that I’m doing the right thing.” No, it actually shows that they are the humans that matter.
They are the humans that care. They are the humans that are not okay with supporting genocide and then just allowing those people who support genocide to continue their regular lives as if nothing’s happened. As if there’s not literally children being starved to death on a daily basis. It’s just so disingenuous. It’s so pathetic. And it’s such a just sack of [ __ ] response. Uh anyway, I’ll I’ll play the end here. I’m not actually sure what he says at the end here. Here’s the other thing. I think you need to go back and tell who’s ever running your organization.
We just gave more money to a Jew. So funny. Uh so what he means, I assume you get it, but he means they paid for tickets to come into his show. But again, this is designed to make you think those people were anti-Jews, and they were not. at least likely were not. They’re anti- genocide. They’re anti-Israel. They’re anti-aparid ethnostates uh that commit genocide. That does not mean they’re anti-Jew. But of course, Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Maher and others would like you to think that any criticism of Israel or those who support Israel is criticism of Jews.
And I’ve gone through this so many times that I’m like exhausted and I can’t go through it again. But uh so they probably don’t care that they gave money to a Jew to buy a ticket. Uh what they probably do care about is they had to give money to a genocide supporter to buy a ticket to get in there. Uh because it uh it uh yeah, it’s the only way to confront these people. Actually, a while back, I remember I played a clip from someone who got a selfie with Seinfeld and he had it on video.
And so, he gets into the selfie and Seinfeld’s smiling and the guy goes the guy goes, “Can I get a free Palestine?” And Jerry Seinfeld goes, “Uh, I don’t really care. I don’t really care. I don’t really care about that.” What a lovely human. Just Just the best. Just the best of the best. And imagine being a multi multi multi multi multi multi multi multi-millionaire and still being like that. Like you’ve got that much money. You literally have nothing. Nothing on this planet ever even stresses you out. [laughter] Like there is nothing that could get in the way of you just living on a beach with your millions.
I mean, he has hundreds of millions of dollars from the TV show, which was mainly Larry David’s genius, honestly. Um, but hundreds of millions of dollars. And to still be like, “No, but we should rain down bombs on children that have nothing. Nothing. They’re living in tents. They’re lucky if they find water. It is so breathtakingly psychopathic to be like Jerry Seinfeld.” Never meet your heroes, folks. Never meet your heroes. Thank you to Pende for uh supporting the show. Really appreciate it. Okay. Uh someone says, “Isn’t he a billionaire?” Yeah, he might be a billionaire.
I I don’t I just know he has hundreds of millions, but by now he might be a billionaire. Okay. I’m going to wrap up here.
