  1. Unless tens of millions of Americans plug the streets, continuously week after week, the sociopathic elite will revel in their field day of this wealth transfer. Meanwhile, *weigh* up north, the melting ice goes on unabated. Stateside folks, please get over this fascination with hero personality, eh what!? The answer is in one word: DRAWBACK.

  2. Some truth is created, sure — like economic theories and systems, inventions of our minds. But some truth preceded us onto the planet — physics, chemistry & biology. And sure, we do create models to describe these phenomena. But, that doesn’t negate the fact that the phenomena precede us. And if those descriptive models are also predictive, it gives them validity. So let’s please not stretch the invention ideas too far. We ignore natural science at our own peril. But of course, scientific ideas that get censored rather than published will have negligible effects on the culture.

And I still get serious resistance from supposedly educated, sophisticated, urbane Americans when I suggest cutting consumption as essential to approaching ecocide and climate change. What-ho, me impact my cushy life?

    1. science—another ruling class amerikan ideology
“amerikans believe anything described as scientific without question”. G Gorer
“both amerikan liberals and conservatives equally misuse science”. S Jacoby

  3. War is always bad when Republicans are in power. The last Democrat President who people marched against in numbers was LBJ rightfully over Vietnam. War was glorified and massively expanded under Obama and even Black people became OK with war (MLK is just a distant memory). Lots of money to be made by Biden and his buddies; not like a leopard can change its spots.

    1. sure zwarch—I suggest that u reflect on your own self loathing insecure dribbling posts…..”Americans bewilder Europeans”. Geoffrey Gorer

    2. as all ordinary non-amerikans observe and all sociologist also–you amerikans are so insecure you cannot tolerate privacy: u dread lonliness. again exposing your peculiar amerikan insecurity LOL

  4. It is difficult to decide which is more disheartening: the Neo Progressive peddling of nonsensical propaganda like the pile of bile above, or the fact that in their peddling of alternative facts delusions, their media outlets completely ignore the record-breaking attempts of Trump, his enablers at the GOP, and the fact that 73 million Americans prefer a proven authoritarian fascist to a democrat.

    1. projecting your childish anti-authoritarianism—fascist. it is u war mongers…clinton, Obama, biden that distribute more US troops across the globe than trump…not fascist and racist enough for you crude self uglified barbarians

    2. your puerile response and stupidity is unsurprising—the self uglified murikan
      “democracy”. LOL

  5. of course—amerikan liberals–the most fascist, prefer Biden; he will distribute more troops to Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, syria, etc

  6. I always appreciate Danny Sjursen’s analyses of our war and peace policies and actions. For interested readers, a fact-filled, easily digested background on the role of war profiteers in our Middle East quagmire is at
